Beauty Goes Far Deeper

Hello and thank you for stopping by our blog today!

Today’s beautiful inspiration is from Veerle Moreels…

So there’s this whole new year lying ahead of us. And we are supposed to have these new year’s resolutions. But when you are completely honest… how long before you break them? Because a lack of time, a lack of perseverance, a lack of courage, a lack of… ? Or just because it’s easier?

My air bubbles are burned through the different layers of the paper.

But only those at the bottom are golden..

Stamps used:

Dare to Swim

Such a beautiful card Veerle. Love your burnt bubbles ♡  Thank you!

You’ll find more amazing projects over on Veerle’s blog.

Stay Curious!

Hello! We are back with more fabulous inspiration for you here on the blog today:  Lynn Good is here with her latest project…

Hi Everyone,. today I am sharing with you an art journal page that I have created for the Visible Image Design Team using the awesome stamp – Curious Cats.

I created the background using ripped up background papers that I created with my Gelli plate together with books pages, dictionary pages and music sheets.

I have used a permanent black fineline ink for the images and a white paint pen around the eyes and nose.  The edges of the art journal have been coloured using a Neocolour II watercolour crayon.

Here are some close ups:

Here is a link to the stamp set used:

Thanks for stopping by, and until next time Happy Crafting!
Lynn

Fantastic collage Lynn.. loving all the different layers! Thank you ♡

Always Wear Your Invisible Cape!

Hello! We have double the inspiration for you here on the blog today.

First up is Pauline Butcher with her super sparkly card…

Hi there,

‘Happy New Year’, and I hope that 2018 is a really good year for you all.

I am starting this year, with a colourful card that I’ve created, using some awesome Visible Image Stamps, and one of their fabulous stencils.

Hopefully this card will have a little bit of an uplifting effect, for those who need a boost this time of the year.

The stamps I’ve used are…

The background was achieved using Brusho’s. I placed the stencil on top, and blended over it with similar coloured Distress Inks, I also added a floor, using some black Distress ink.

On a separate piece of white card I stamped the Rain lady from ‘ Sparkle in the Rain’, with an embossing pad, and heat embossed  her using Wow Persian Indigo embossing glitter, I  then fussy cut her, missing off the canopy of  her umbrella.

Again using the embossing pad, I stamped the wings from ‘Angels are Near’, using Metallic Gold Rich, and heat embossed, fussy cut them, and coloured them with Mustard Seed ink.

For the sparkle on top of her wand, I used heat resistant acetate, on which I stamped the smallest sparkle stamp from the ‘Ray’s of Light’, with an embossing pad, and heat embossed using White puff Twinkle, the sentiment was stamped onto purple card, using the same method.

I hope you are all getting excited, next week there will be sneak peeks of the new Visible Image stamps, which will be released later this month, they are really awesome!

I have my Warwick Workshop happening on Sunday 14th January, 10am – 4pm,
if you’d like more information, please email me: [email protected]

Thanks for dropping in.

Hugs,
Pauline xxxxxx

Fabulous card Pauline.. thank you! Great quote for her! ♡

Exciting New Year Ahead!

Hi there! Thanks for visiting us here on the Visible Image blog today!

We are getting very excited about our first ever trip to the USA in a few weeks..

Destination: Phoenix, Arizona

Destination: Inspiration !

We hope to be inspiring everyone we meet there, with our awesome stamps and stencils!

Today on the blog were are featuring a few cards we think are particularly relevant to our exciting adventure..

We’ll definitely need to ‘leave our fears behind’ (Helen’s fear of flying.. and of course the fear of the unknown!)

Our ‘Stars and Stripes’ stencil.. inspired by the US flag of course!

The fantastic quote in this set.. ‘the greatest adventure is what lies ahead’…
along with the planes of course!

It was a dream come true for us when our products were stocked in the very first store in the USA a year ago..
Our vision is for Visible Image to become a well known and well loved brand in the US.. ♡

We hope our ‘different’ designs help us to stand out at the show..

We are SO excited to start previewing our BRAND NEW stamps in just over a week’s time!! We think they are our most creative yet! They are definitely different! Our Design Team are loving creating samples with them, and are blowing us away with their projects! We can’t wait to proudly show them off in our booth!

We will be back in the new year with brand new inspiration from our amazing team, who have been enjoying a blogging break over the holidays.

We wish you a truly fantastic New Year… a year filled with plenty of stamping and creating, of happy times, good health, and exciting adventures!

Enjoy the celebrations welcoming 2018… we think it’s going to be awesome!

We can’t wait to show you our NEW stamp designs in January!

We are now closed for the Christmas holidays, and will re-open on Tuesday January 9th.

Mark & Helen xx

Adventures Lie Ahead!

Good Evening (or morning/afternoon depending where you are in the world)!

Veerle Moreels is here to inspire you on the blog today. The stamps featured on her tag are THE perfect stamps for how we are feeling at the moment…. ‘Destination Unknown’…although we DO know the destination: PHOENIX, what will come of our first time exhibiting at Creativation is unknown!

‘Destination Inspiration’ is one of the show hashtags… we certainly hope we will be inspiring and wowing some fabulous store owners there!

If you own a store and want to find out more about stocking our stamps and stencils please get in touch!

Or if you would like your local store to stock us.. let them know!

Ok on to today’s inspiration, and another brilliant video from Veerle…

Wouldn’t it be great if sometimes we could take a peak in the future? It would make some decisions a lot easier but… it would spoil a lot of excitement too. We have to admit that sometimes not knowing what is coming is pretty exciting. And each day we get a little closer we feel the excitement grow.
For todays project…I had my video camera on again, so enjoy the video!

Stamps used:

Rock out this Christmas!

Hi there! Thank you for visiting us here on the Visible Image blog today!

Will you be Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree??

Pauline Butcher is here with some awesome music themed inspiration…

Hi there,

Sorry for the absence last week, unfortunately I’d had a fall, and injured my right arm and wrist, so was out of action for a week, it’s still quite painful, but I can manage to use the computer again, and craft, thank goodness, but I do keep uttering some rude expletives now and again, I am sorry to say.. lol !!!!!

Anyway, it’s  time for me to share one of my Visible Image creations, this is a card for anyone who is into music…

The stamp set I used is Rock Out

and the Play Guitar stencil

The background was achieved by smearing very small blobs of acrylic paint  (about 4 or 5 colours), over black card using a palette knife in random directions. Then I placed the Stencil over the dry background, with one of the colours of paint on a piece of foam, I pounced through the stencil.

Using the star boarder, with Black Versafine ink, I stamped around three of the edges, on the forth edge (the bottom), I used a piece of copy paper to get a straight edge, and blended with some Black Soot Oxide ink, to make the ground. After drying all the ink with a heat tool, I stamped the sentiment and the image, using an embossing pad, and heat embossed with Wow Black Glint embossing powder,

I then sprinkled a small amount of Wow Totally Teal embossing glitter, to one side of the image, and heated from below the card, so’s the powder didn’t blow off. I finished off with some highlights, using a white pigment pen.

Thank you for visiting,

Hugs
Pauline xxxxx

Totally awesome card Pauline.. thank you! Loving your two tone guitarist!! ♡

We are so glad you are on the mend xxx
