Book of Time

Hello and Happy Friday to you! Gosh this week has flown by…

We have some more awesome inspiration to share with you here on the blog, first up today is Teresa Morgan…

So, how do you like the new stamps? I love the time themed sets and have created a zig zag book to show off the wonderful words in the set.

Front and back covers…

My pages and covers are coloured with Distress Oxide Inks. I used more Distriss Oxide inks to stamp the numbers in the background, and used Versamark ink for the stamps I wanted to emboss in gold

The sentiments are stamped with Ranger Archival Ink.

Stamps Used:

Ahead of our Time

Somewhere in Time

Amazing project! How awesome does the gold embossing look against the oxides.. love it! Thanks Teresa ♡

You will find more of Teresa’s inspiring projects over on her blog.

We Always Think We’ll Have TIME…

Hi there!

Jane Tyrrell is here on the blog today sharing a rather special project she made with our NEW stamps…

Good morning

The new stamp sets really are awesome! They are larger sets, A5 size, and there is so much you can do with them.
I was like a kid in a sweetie shop, as I had so many ideas, when my sets arrived.

Somewhere in Time

Ahead of Our Time

I received the new stamps hush/hush a couple of weeks ago to make some samples with and today I am sharing my first project.

I made myself some very “cosmic” backgrounds using Distress Oxide inks on black card

I was aiming to make a galaxy with my inks.

I die cut 4 panels using my ancient but much loved Sizzix accordion die and added some stamping around the edges using the cogs and spring stamp which I gold embossed.

I stamped and decorated each panel centre. These words were white embossed.

I loved adding hands to the time swirl from the Ahead of time set..I fussy cut and embossed the falling man and woman; he is just about holding on to time 😉 but I think she has slipped into the vortex….I wonder if there is a black hole out there…?

I made myself some die cut cogs too which I altered with mixed media products and finished my card with these great quotes from the Somewhere in Time set.

and here is the big reveal of my Time accordion card…

As a member of their Design Team I get a real buzz seeing my work on television. I made 2 other “Time” projects for the show, which I will be sharing very soon. I was waving to them on TV.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and for all the very kind comments that you take the “Time” to leave…pun intended 😆 I hope you got a chance to see the show..or set up your recorders to watch at your convenience. You can still watch on ‘catch up‘ over on the Create and Craft website… but today is your last chance! (You need to search for the June 9th shows).

Back soon.
Bye for now,
Jane x

Incredible project Jane… absolutely superb! Stunning background and the addition of the clock hands is awesome!
Thank you so much we were very proud to show this off on TV! ♡

Live in the NOW

Hello! We have another incredible project to share with you here on the blog today, created with our BRAND NEW stamps which you are loving… thank you!

Pauline has combined all three new stamp sets to create this awesome card…

Hi there,

Today I’m sharing a card made with some of the awesome new Visible Image stamp designs, which are now officially released!

I used Oxides on the background, and raised the people and birds to give dimension to the card.

Some close ups…

The stamps I used on this card were:

Ahead of our Time

The sentiments are from:
Somewhere in Time

I also used the Alphabetical stamps on the background:

Thanks for visiting,
hugs, Pauline xxxx

Amazing dimension and just so cool! Thank you so much Pauline ♡
You will find more of Pauline’s fabulous cards and projects over on her blog.

There are many TIME themed stamps around but we hope you’ll agree we have put a different twist on ours, and they really will inspire your creativity!!! That time spiral… ♡ And the dimension on that open door is awesome! Endless creative possibilities for sure…

The alphabet is a ‘must have’…with doubles of the lower case letters it makes personalising your projects so easy! The font is brilliant as are the scribbled frames!

As all our initial stock of ‘Ahead of our Time’ and ‘Somewhere in Time’ sold out in record time, so there’s a little wait for more stock to arrive… but it won’t be too long now.

It’s Time

Hello there! We are back with more awesome inspiration for you… a little later than planned sorry but better late than never!!!

Nicky Gilburt has been creating with some of our brilliant NEW stamps…

I’m so excited to share my first make with the amazing new set from Visible Image called ‘Somewhere in Time.

These stamps are launching on Create and Craft TV this Friday, June 9th! It’s going to be an awesome weekend!

For this 7×5″ card I started with an A6 piece of white, stamped the smashed pocket watch and then masked off the whole thing with Pebeo Drawing Gum. Once I had allowed this to dry I went crazy with colour – Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Carved Punpkin, adding detail to the background and some coiled springs in black to the foreground. Then I simply rubbed off the gum and added a hint of colour to the workings behind the watch face.

I also prepared the base card too, but only the inch around the edge, as once the design is mounted, that’s all there is to see!

The designs and words in this set are amazing, I am going to investigate more with different phrases, as there are so many ways to work with them, and indeed the other two NEW sets! Get your orders in as NEW Visible Image releases are notoriously popular and have sold out time and again on Create and Craft!

Happy Crafting

Nicky x

You Can’t Turn Back The Clock

Hello! We are back, as promised, with more brilliant inspiration for you!

Pauline Butcher has combined 2 of our NEW sets which of course work so well together…

Hi there,

Well, I managed to get my hands on the brand new stamp designs from Visible Image, and had a very quick play, they are rather awesome.

The stamps I’ve used are…

The cogs and sentiment from Somewhere in Time

and the fabulous man is from Ahead of our Time

I achieved the background by brayering some very florescent green and Pink paint, dried it with my heat tool, then I stamped the cogs using Black Archival ink. I stamped the man and sentiment with Versamark, and heat embossed them using a green florescent embossing powder.

Thanks for visiting,
hugs Pauline xxxx
