Brighten The World

Hi!!! We have Jane Tyrrell up on the blog next with a stunning canvas that will really make you smile…

Now that spring seems to have finally arrived I decided to make a sunny canvas for my weekly design team inspiration for Visible Image stamps.

I used 2 stamp sets that I have not inked up for some time. It was time to ink up the brilliant

dragonfly stamp from the Live in the Moment  stamp set:

and use it with the awesome Your Vivid Colours sentiment

I also stamped and fussy cut out some flowers from the Imperfection is Beauty set.

I made a distress ink background using spring coloured distress inks on watercolour paper

I masked the stamp into 2 halves so that I could put my dragonfly in between the words and made a stalk for my flowers using one of the stamps from the Organics stamp set

I stamped my dragonfly on a scrap of alcohol ink mop up card and fussy cut him out. I added Glossy Accents for some shine.

Here is my completed canvas…

and a couple of close ups..

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Enjoy the warming sunshine.

Back soon!

Bye for now,
Jane x

Good Times

Good Evening! We are back with more fabulous inspiration this evening..

Lynn Good is here with a gorgeous scrapbook layout…

Today I would like to share a layout that I have created for the Visible Image Design Team.

When I started this layout I had no idea what I was going to do but I did know I wanted to create using bright colours, so I have used water colour paper and randomly stamped around where my picture would be using the Imperfection is Beauty Stamp collection

I then decided I would fussy cut out some bright coloured flowers so I used another piece of water colour paper and created colour using Dylusions Ink Sprays and water

I added layers of colour drying in between and continually adding water and letting them take their own course.  Once I was happy with the colours I spritzed the whole piece with water and ran a roll of paper towel across it to pick up some of the colour and leave random whiter marks.

I have then stamped the flowers and fussy cut them out.

I have stamped the saying ‘Good Times’ from the No Regrets Stamp collection and embossed with Lindys Stamp Gang Embossing powder.  I didnt want straight edges so I have cut around the letters and placed onto my layout.

Here are some close ups:

I have defined the centre of the flowers with white and black paint pens

Thanks for stopping by and until next time – Happy creating 🙂

Beautiful Flowers

Hi! We are back with more gorgeous inspiration this evening!

As it is June 1st, a NEW themed challenge has started over in our Facebook group. This month’s theme is DIMENSION… add layers, create a 3D project or interpret the theme however you wish!

Teresa is here with some stunning challenge inspiration…

Good Evening – it’s Thursday and that means it’s my turn to share a Visible Image project with you all.

I’ve got a CAS card for you this week using the pretty flowers from the Imperfection is Beauty set…

I stamped and embossed the flowers onto heat resistant acetate, then backed with some double sided adhesive sheet before cutting out. I sprinkled some neon glitter onto the adhesive for a funky look.

The stalks are stamped directly on to the card base  with the flowers attached using 3d gel glue. I finished with a sentiment from the Own it! set

Born To Sing

Hi there! We have some gorgeous inspiration from Corrie Herriman here on the blog today…

Hello everyone,

Today for my DT post for Visible Image I have made a card with easily my most favourite Visible Image stamp ever !

It is the singer… I love her.

This was a really easy card to make.. I started off with a piece of white card stock and I stamped the flower on it repeatedly with Distress Oxide Inks. With these inks you can just stamp over the top of the flowers with any colour. It won’t turn to mud.

When this was done I cut out a square to fit my card; I chose the piece I liked best.

I then stamped the singer 3 times using a stamping tool so she is nice and black. I used the Tim Holtz stamping platform which is ideal for these solid images..

I stamped the sentiment which is made out of two different stamp sets.  After everything was dry and to my liking I matted the panel onto black card stock and then on a white card.

I used the following stamps:

Fabulous card Corrie thank you ♡ Great combination of stamps and love the flower stamped with oxides!

You will find more of Corrie’s fantastic cards and projects over on her blog.

Life Can Be Tough My Darling…

Hi there! We are back with more gorgeous inspiration for you.

Pauline is here to share a fabulous new card featuring one of our incredibly popular designs… yes you guessed it, our Curious Cat!

Hi my lovely friends,

It’s Fabulous Friday once again, so time for me to share one of my creations, made with the help of some fantastic Visible Image Stamps.

This week it’s the turn of that gorgeous Puddy Cat…

Curious Cats

with some flowers from the very useful Create It set

and the sentiment is Life can be Tough

I used acrylic paints for the background, when it was dry I stamped the cat’s face, whiskers, and the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed them using black embossing powder.

I stamped the flowers onto a seperate piece of card using back Versafine ink, coloured them with Distress inks, and fussy cut them.

I coloured the cat’s eyes, and used Glossy Accents to give them a fab shine, then coloured it’s cute little nose.

I added the flowers with a 3D glue gel, and added some stickles.

Thanks once again for popping in, please leave me a comment if you can.

Hugs Pauline xxxx

This is such a gorgeous card and I’m sure anyone receiving it would smile a little smile, whatever challenge they are facing ♡

This sentiment is a must have.. when you don’t have the right words these might be just what you need.

Stunning card, thank you Pauline ♡

Bold & Beautiful

Hello! We are back with more stunning inspiration for you this afternoon here on the blog!

Next up is Dot Leathbridge with a really beautiful card…

Bold and Beautiful  is one of the sayings from the ‘Own It’ set which was released earlier this year.

For this card I’ve teamed it up with the ‘Create It’ set.

I love how the flowers look like they are facing the sky.

These stamp sets can be put together in so many creative ways.

Some doodling has been added to an inky background for a slightly different look and
the flowers have simply been cut out and added in.

Love this card so much ♡  Thank you Dot!

I stamped the flowers with Versamark ink and embossed with WOW Powders Superfine Opaque Bright White EP.  The sentiment is embossed with Bluetiful and Pink Lady EPs (also from WOW Powders).

Visible Image stamps - Imperfection Is Beauty, Just Be Happy

I used Cosmo Crickets Swatch Sticks water colours to wash over the embossed flowers. The EP acts as a resist. I love the soft dreamy feel of the watercolour paint.

Hope is Everything – Visible Image stamps

Good Evening! Hope you’ve had a good start to the week.

We are kicking off another week of amazing inspiration with the very talented Kim Bacon…

Hello! And welcome to the start of another week!!

As you know I am totally addicted to Brusho Paints, and the card for today is another example of what you can achieve.

I have used one of my favourite Visible Image stamps, the Gerbera from the INKognito range. I first created the background using turquoise and lime green paints before stamping the flower and the sentiment from the new Express Yourself range using white embossing powder.
