Explore.. Discover

Hello! We have more fabulous inspiration here on the blog today.

Pauline Butcher is up first…

Hello there,

Today I’m sharing a wacky, bright card I’ve created, using a selection of awesome Visible Image Stamps…

The stamps I’ve used are…

The Background is created with Fluid Acrylic paints, added to the card with a palette knife. I then stamped the ‘Jumping Girl’ using Versamark, and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I did the same with the stars, after adding the feathers, which were heat embossed with some Florescent Green embossing powder. I made the straight lines with a ruler and a black pen. On a separate piece of card, I stamped the little boat, plane, and the sentiments I wanted (all from Destination Unknown), and fussy cut them, and added them to the card.

Thank you so much for popping in.

Hugs,
Pauline xxxxx

So Much To Discover..

Hello! We have some fantastic inspiration coming your way this weekend.

Pauline Butcher is up first with an awesome inky card…

Hi there,

I’t’s time to share a card made using Visible Image Stamps, the background is a technique I have taught at some of my recent workshops.

The main image is a stamp from Ahead of our Time

the word and arrows are from Destination Unknown

the bar of music and the sound-wave from Music Speaks

the stars from Feel the Beat

and, the drips from Teenage Kicks.

The background is acrylic paint, and on top of that I stamped the images with Versamark, and heat embossed using various Wow embossing powders: Black Glint, Totally Teal, and Sunset Orange.

I highlighted all the images with a white pen, to make them pop.

I am running an Inky Workshop in Warwick on Sunday 18th March…
10am to 4pm –  £25 per person.

Explore Discover Journey

Hi there! We hope you have had a great Easter weekend! We are back with lots of gorgeous inspiration here on the blog today.

We are kicking off with the latest project by Corrie Herriman…

Hello everyone,

and welcome to this blog post for Visible Image. This time I have made a trio of ATC’s.

The backgrounds were made with Tim Holtz’ Distress Oxide Inks. I used ‘Fossilized Amber’, ‘Peeled Paint’,
‘Spiced Marmalade’, ‘Broken China’ and ‘Cracked Pistachio’.  Next I stamped the backgrounds with Broken
China Oxide Ink and Jet Black Archival ink.

I added some doodle lines around the edges and then stamped the main images and words.
The were cut out, apart from the map which I tore out, and adhered to the cards. The word discover
was stamped directly onto the card. I added some twine around the middle card and adhered all
three to a piece of water colour card stock. Makes a nice panel I think…

That was it. Here are some close ups:

Thank you so much for stopping by today !
