ROCK OUT – Visible Image stamps

Good Afternoon! We are back with our 3rd inspirational post today… wowza! We hope you have been suitably inspired  ❤

Our final post for today comes from Pauline Butcher who, as always, is injecting some colour into Friday!!!

Helloooo,

I hope you are all well, just a quickie today, a card I made for one of my recent workshops, I do love passing on techniques.

The unique stamps I’ve used, are designed and made by hand,
by Mark and Helen at Visible Imagethey both work very hard, and are very passionate about their company and their fabulous stamps.

2015-10-29-Visible-Image-stamps- You Rock - Pauline Butcher

I used Brusho’s for the background, along with spray starch and cling film, such a cool vibrant outcome!
I stamped the sentiment with Versamark, mixing 2 colours of sparkle Embossing powder, before heating to set.

The Image is made using Angelina Fibres, placed on top of the stamp which has Versamark on, then ironed, such a fab technique, and finally fussy cut.

If you are going to the NEC next week, do pop along to the Visible Image Stand, B09 where you meet Helen and Mark, see some of the stunning stamps available, also see loads of inspirational DT work, and you will also see me, I am doing ‘Make & Takes’, but get in early to book your place as they are limited.

It’s the last few days to get your Pink entry into the Visible Image ‘Show and Tell’, for a chance to win some fabulous stamps, check it out HERE.

Also pop over the the Visible Image Facebook Group, and see the inspiration the fans of the stamps are producing, HERE.

Thanks for checking my post out.

See you again soon,
Hugs,
Pauline xxxx

Awesome work Pauline thank you! ❤ ❤ ❤

It’s like this technique was made for this stamp! If you LOVE music or make cards for someone who does, then head over and check out the whole collection HERE!

We will be back tomorrow with some fantastic Halloween inspiration from Teresa Morgan, and something Christmassy from Susanne Rose ❤

Hope to see you then! Enjoy the rest of your Friday 🙂

Greetings Earthlings – Visible Image Stamps

Good Morning 🙂 The sun is shining here in Wales today… hoping we have summer back for a while!

Busy day of stamp making ahead again today…

Here on the blog today Teresa is here to inspire you with one of our NEW character sets 🙂

Welcome back for my Thrilling Thursday inspiration post for Visible Image stamps. I love these little alien invaders…..so much that I had to have a group of them on my card this week.

Visible Image Stamps - Alien Invader Set

I used a masking technique to stamp the little guys overlapping each other and coloured them with Promarkers. The background is blended Pan Pastels and I doodled a little border around the edge.

Visible Image Stamps - Alien Invader Set

I cut out the speech bubble, stamped the sentiment and added another little freehand border.

Robots @ Visible Image

Hello again 🙂 Thank you for visiting!

Kim Bacon is here with her Marvellous Monday post… and she has strayed into usually unknown territory 😉

Today I am showcasing 2 cards I made using the really wonderful Robot stamp from Visible Image.

You might already know that I ‘don’t do characters’ but once again Visible Image have designed a stamp that has drawn me out of my normal choice.

Think back to their fab Tin Man and those pesky little Tweedle Twins, you can see why I picked the Robot Data set….

Tin Man - Visible Image - Kim Bacon          Tweedledee Tweedledum - Visible Image stamps - Kim Bacon

The first card I made uses the brilliant accessory stamps along with the Robot. I used Brusho paints for the background and the robot. I also used Diamond Glaze on the Robot to give him extra shine. I used water to draw some of the colour off the Brusho background.

Visible Image stamps - Robot Data Set - Happy Birthday - Boys Card - Kim Bacon

Kim Bacon - Robot

The second card I made came after an idea I had one sleepless night! I have some of my best ideas during the night, insomnia is a devil sometimes. I had been thinking about these new release stamps and when I finally closed my eyes I saw rows and rows of Robots. Took some time cutting out the masks but I think the result is quite good even if it is maybe a little bit menacing!

Lost in space! Oh, I hope not, but you never know with these green men around. This is the brand new Alien Invader Set from Visible Image I’ve used today.

I think he is a bit cute, so I added some pink to my card and it took most of the drama away… lol.

I’ve added a bit of glitter to the rays, but I don’t think it shows up on the picture.

Let’s Rock @ Visible Image

Good Evening 🙂

Thank you for coming to visit us today! It’s Thursday which means Teresa is here with her latest Visible Image inspiration…

Welcome back – are you excited about the new stamps coming next week?

If you haven’t seen the sneaky clues then be sure to pop along to the new release event on Facebook which you can find by clicking here. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on, but for now we will both have to wait!!

This week I have made a card that would be great for any Rock music fan, and would also be a perfect Father’s Day card for all those ageing rockers out there!!

Visible Image stamps - Drummer - Rock - Skulls - Teresa Morgan

I stamped and embossed the chain from the Max Rocks set of stamps using Versamark Ink and silver embossing powder to create a frame around the card. Don’t worry about trying to match the corners as these are hidden by the skulls. The skulls are from the same set, stamped with black Versafine ink onto white card and cut out. I added some gems to the eyes.

I then stamped the skulls with Desert Sand Memento ink to create the background behind the drummer. The drummer is stamped with black Versafine ink, then I distressed the edge of the card and added some Black Soot Distress Ink.

This is matted onto red card, then onto the embossed black card. The skulls are mounted on 3d foam pads.

CAS cards with Visible Image stamps

Hi There! Thanks for popping to see us here on the Visible Image stamps blog today 🙂

If you missed any of our recent posts you will find them all HERE

Lisa Nygards is here with some amazing inspiration for you…

Trying some real CAS-cards today. CAS stands for Clean And Simple, like less is more.

I’ve used the stamps from Rock Out on the brown card. I stamped the image with a brown inkpad on a kraft paper and chalked the edges. Super easy.

Visible Image stamps - Rock Out - Guitarist -inkywings 1- 2015

Visible Image stamps - Rock Out - Guitarist -inkywings 2 - 2015

For the next one I’ve used These are the moments and one of the circles from the Universal set.

I found a bunch small rainbow inkpads that still worked and used them for the circles. Then I just stamped the sentiment in black.

On to my project for the day!!

Visible Image stamps - Rock Our - Grungy Silhouette Guitarist - Teresa Morgan

To create the background I stamped the Grunge Check with Versamark Ink and embossed with WOW powders’ Dull Matt Clear embossing powder. I then used Dylusions ink sprays and Distress Inks to add colour to the card, wiping any excess off the embossing powder. Once dry I used Ranger Sticky Embossing powder and silver blue foil to stamp the words across the top and bottom of the card front. Finally I stamped the guitarist and the words in the centre and embossed with black embossing powder.

Rock That Attitude – Visible Image stamps

Hi There 🙂 We’re back with our second post today.

Over to Lisa…

Today I think I need some happy colors to stay awake. After a lovely crop over the weekend with my best friends I’m a bit tired. Bright happy colors from Dylusion Mists. Blended in water and dripped and dropped several times. Dried in between. Then I used stamps from Max Rocks Stamp Set that you’ll find here at Visible Image.

Max himself is stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with watercolor pens. I won them at the crop and had to try them out.
.:)

Do you love Visible Image stamps? Right now they are looking for someone to join the Design Team. Please check out the Design Team Call!

Good Afternoon 🙂 Thanks for coming to visit.

Here with some gorgeous new inspiration it’s over to Lisa Nygards…

Hi again.

Today I have two cards for you with stamps from Visible Image. The first one was meant to be for last week, but my internet died and I had no chance to get it up. It was almost going to happen again, the internet was away all day yesterday for me, but was back late afternoon. Phew.

Elegant Emma is first out on a CAS-card. Classic clean and square – perfect if you don’t like details.

The second card is kind of opposite. Lots of details, layers and decorations. It’s fun to do both styles. I’ve used Myrddin from the Myrddin Magick Set.

The edges are distressed and inked and lots of cheese cloth to add texture.

Drum in Colour

Hey! 🙂 We’re back with even more inspiration today!!! Woweee we are spoiling you 😉

Pauline Butcher is certain to brighten your day with her latest creation! Over to Pauline…

Hi there,

I’m doing my Visible Image Stamps blog early this week, as I have swapped with my teamie Sue.

This is a card I created at the beginning of the month, using some fantastic Visible Image Stamps, for my Wonderful partner Rob’s Birthday. He is a drummer, so these new music themed stamps are genius for him.

Visible Image stamps - Drummer - Feel The Beat - Music stamps - Pauline Butcher

The Visible Image stamps I used were…….

I started off with a 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Centura Pearl card, (I always use the mat side of the card for blending Distress Inks, it’s nice and smooth).  I blended Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers onto it, making sure that there was Mustard Seed in the middle. I then used the star stamp from the Universal set and stamped 4 stars using the same colours tone on tone. I Stamped the drummer and the sentiment using Versamark, and heat embossed with black powder. Using the feather stamp from ‘Angels are near’, I stamped just the inky tip around the edges using the same colours, tone on tone again, and then another layer at the edge using Chipped Sapphire.

This would have made a great 6″x 6″ card, but I decided to go bigger, lol.  So, on the mat side of a piece of Centura Pearl 7 1/4″ x 7 1/4″, and using the music stamp, I stamped from the middle out all the way around the card, again using the same 3 colours to co-ordinate with the topper. I then stamped the tip of the feather, again using Chipped Sapphire, around the edges. To finish off, I added Black Stickles to the sentiment, parts of the Drummer, and the edges of the larger background, I  then mat and layered onto an 8″ x 8″ card blank.

Don’t forget to enter the Visible Image ‘Show and Tell’ competition, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, details HERE.

Also visit the Visible Image Facebook Group HERE, there’s always lots going on, and plenty of inspiration too.

There is a Visible Image Workshop day, in Bristol, on Sunday 17th May..
10am – 4pm, organised by the ‘Out of the Blue – Gift Shop’.

I shall be conducting 2 workshops, using some very unique Visible Image stamps, at the Compass Inn, Tormarton, included in the day is a yummy Roast Dinner, for more details or to book phone 01454 312355.

Thank you once again for visiting,
Big hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Such an amazing card! Love how Pauline has stamped the Music wave around the edges and cool use of the feather too! Striking colours and doesn’t the ‘Universal Set’ make an awesome background!

If you are in or around the Bristol area, Pauline’s workshops are superb – it will be a fantastic day on May 17th.  You can find more of Pauline’s awesome work over on her blog.

If you missed any of today’s earlier posts, you will find them HERE

Rock Out @ Visible Image

Hello There! 🙂 We are back with some awesome inspiration for you today!
Teresa Morgan has got her hands on our Rock Out set and we are loving the results…

It’s Thursday once again and that means it’s my turn to wow you with some more Visible Image inspiration!

This week I have used the amazing Rock Out set of stamps (with a couple of others) to create some loud and funky cards.

Visible Image stamps - Rock Out - Grungy Guitarist - Teresa Morgan 1

I created the first card by stamping the image with different colour Distress Inks, offsetting it to create the shadow effect (paying homage to the golden days of TOTP). The final image is embossed with black embossing powder. I offset the sentiment in the same way, and inked around the edge of the card to add extra interest.

Visible Image stamps - Rock Out - Grungy Guitarist - Teresa Morgan

My second card has the Music Score stamped in the background as well as the funky star from the Universal set. I only partially inked the music stamp as I wanted it to fade out towards the centre. I also only inked up half the sentiment. I love the fact that you can choose which parts of the stamp you want to use, it gives such versatility. The guitarist and sentiment are both embossed with black embossing powder.

Visible Image stamps - Rock Out - Grungy Guitarist - Teresa Morgan 2

My final card has a Ska feel to it….some of us can probably remember Two-Tone Records!! I used the Grunge Check background and white embossing powder on black card.

I then used black embossing powder on the guitarist on some white card. The sentiment is stamped on each piece so that it lined up and embossed in opposite colours. Simple, yet strikingly effective!

I hope that you are inspired by my projects today – I think that the Rock Out stamp set is a must-have for all those teenagers and men in our lives!!

Steampunk and Rock – Visible Image stamps

Hello 🙂 We are back with our second post today! So much inspiration!

Over to the amazing Lisa Nygards…

Welcome Wednesday.

For my first card I’ve been playing and mixing the words from Alice set with Edgar from Visible Image. For the second one I’ve rediscover some foil, and just know I had some sticky embossing powder so I digged through my boxes and found it. So, everything on the card is covered with foil! You’ll find the set Rock Out here, and the circles are from the Universal set.

I stamped the rocker and words with Versa Mark ink, covered him with ”sticky embossing powerder” (there is several names on that product that acts the same, it becomes like a glue when you’ve melted it). Right after the powder melted I put on the sheet of foil. Then I just rubbed it easily with my nails like you do when you use rub-ons. You can probably use a bone folder or something too, just be gentle. You can see when the foil sticks and then you just pull it off. The line around is drawn by hand with a 2-way-glue pen. Let it ”dry” and then add the foil. I had a bigger 2-way glue pen, and I added that direct to my circle stamps and stamped with the glue! Waited until it was ”dry” and then added the foil once again. So easy and so fun! The golden circles are die cutted foam tape that I’ve added gold foil to.

Here’s the fabulously talented Pauline Butcher with today’s awesome inspiration

Hi again crafty friends,

These were a sample for my Inky Workshop 3, the results of this fab day are on the post below, do take a look.

The stamps I used for these coasters were……….
Feel The BeatSingRock OutJazz it UpPlay it Loud and Soul Music, the little edging stamp is a sneak peek of the Visible Image freebie, it’s out very soon in the May issue of Craft Stamper.

I painted all the components with a neutral base colour acrylic paint, used a stencil from my stash with distress inks for the background, then stamped the fab images on to each coaster using the very bright Oak House Studio ink pads, I completed it with a dash of a Gold paint pen, Stickles and some Treasure Gold gilding wax.

There is still loads of time to get your Visible Image entry into the ‘Show & Tell’, for a chance of winning some new stamps of your choice, take a look HERE.

Pop along to the Visible Image Facebook group to see all the news, and lots of inspiration HERE.

Thank you for dropping in,
Hugs, Pauline xxxxxx

Tweedledum and Tweedledee @ Visible Image

Good Evening! It’s our third and final post today. If you missed the others you will find them HERE

Over to the awesome Teresa Morgan who has some superb Wonderland inspiration for you...

The Wonderland range of stamps from Visible Image have been a massive hit and everybody is loving the characters, including me!!

This week I am sharing a couple of cards with the cutest twins around – Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee:

Visible Image Stamps - Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

I layered the faces and name tags using 3d foam, adding a bit of twine around their necks for extra detail. They are coloured with Promarkers and the background was created with a mask and Black Soot Distress Ink.

Visible Image Stamps - Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

For my second card, I used the circle design stamp from the Universal set as my background design (love this set, it is so versatile, and a ‘must-have’ in my opinion!) I stamped the brush stroke design from the Drag and Drip set and added red embossing powder, then stamped the sentiment on top with black StazOn ink.

Again, the characters are coloured with Promarkers, and mounted on 3d foam.

Brave Little Elf – Visible Image stamps

Hi! We are back with today’s second post.

Here’s the amazingly talented Elisabeth Lisa Nygards…

It’s Wednesday and I have a card for Visible Image to show you. I’ve used Orin Destiny set this time and it comes with 4 stamps. You can see 3 of them on my card. With this kind of image I didn’t want to make the card too cute, so I skipped the flowers this time. The words come together in one piece and I haven’t cut them apart. I just masked the part off with post it notes that I didn’t want to have ink on when I stamped. Very smart trick!

Rock Out – Visible Image stamps

Hi There! Hope you’re having a good Saturday 🙂

Today Amber is here with more new stamps inspiration…

Hey guys!  Visible Image has a TON of new stamps!  On today’s card I used Rock Out, and Universal.  I started by stamping the circles in red and yellow.  Next I stamped my rocker guy and heat embossed him with clear embossing powder.  I drew a thin black border, and adhered my card front to a black card base.  I stamped the sentiment in black, and again in yellow to add dimension.  I adhered the sentiment strip to the card with foam adhesive.

You Rock – Visible Image stamps

Hello again! We’re back with our second helping of awesome inspiration for you today. Over to the fabulous Lisa…

Hi! This is Max from the Max Rocks stamp set by Visible Image.

Perfect for a cooler card to a boy. I made this card a bit clean and stylish since it’s for a boy. OK, I know – boys CAN love flowers too, but this time, I choose not to add a bunch of flowers. Actually the only decorations are the sculls, and they are stamped and cut out and just put on foam dots. I added the bricks just at a few places in a light color to give a hint of a brick wall behind him. Almost as a decoration.

Find Your Courage Little Elf @ Visible Image stamps

Hi There! Thanks for coming to see us today 🙂

Sunday means superb inspiration from Sam…

Good morning all 🙂
Today is my weekly post for Visible Image Stamps.

I haven’t made a CAS card in a while and I do so love a CAS card 🙂 So today’s make is just that!

11-16-2014 Visible Image stamps - Orin Destiny Set - The Hobbit character stamp - Find Your Courge - visibleimage.co.uk - Samantha Kingdon

I used Orin, from the Orin Destiny set and coloured him in using my Promarkers.

I then stamped the sentiment from The Cowardly Lion Set onto a card blank, in the top left hand corner. I would normally stamp the image on the same layer too, but i already had Orin stamped out, plus i was originally going to hang part of the edge of his cape off the edge of the card, but i think i used a blank that was a little to big, as when i hung his cape off the edge, Orin looked to far away from the wording!
I was originally going to pop him so he was standing in front of Castle Greyskull (you know from He-man ;p) as i think he could pass for he man holding his sword up like that. Here’s a phone pic of the way i was originally going to go ;p What a blast from the past hehe

Orin is mounted using raised foam pads.

If you haven’t joined the Facebook group yet you may want to, so that you can keep up to date with all the latest news and releases 🙂
